About St. Peter's

St Peter's is a friendly and vibrant Anglican Church. It has strong links with community groups and schools in the area and with the wider church locally. We believe that well-established relationships with God, with our community, and with each other are the foundation of a fulfilling Christian lifestyle and a fruitful church.

Please see Church Services for information about our regular and special services. Information about other events is in the Parish News section, together with the weekly notices and the church calendar.

The Parish of Wrecclesham with its population of approximately 6,300 people is situated on the Surrey/North East Hampshire border and includes Shortheath and Boundstone. St Peter’s is the only church in the Parish and was consecrated in 1840 when the population was believed to be around 800 inhabitants, significantly smaller than today. Situated behind the church is the Parish Hall known as the Leverton Hall.

Within the parish are two state schools: St. Peter's School a Church of England aided primary school with 235 pupils, and Weydon School a mixed comprehensive school for students aged 11-16 years. We are proud of our links with both of these excellent schools.
